Short Sale You Are Not Alone

February 22, 2011 Default

Thinking of a short sale looking for direction ? YOU ARE NOT ALONE ! I know you have Morales and feel you should do what your parents and what you think society in general expects from you. You made an agreement, a promise to pay on that dream home or second home and you should honor it. MY HOW TIMES HAVE CHANGED ! People from all ends of society are walking away, it has become just a business decision, a basic financial decision no guilt at the end of the process just RELIEF and a new begining. Remember before making a decision always check with legal counsel, so the direction you take is the best for you and your family.

I think you will find this link below to a 60 minutes investigation on short sales very clarifying and conversation generating. The first video on the left side of the page will get you started. If I can be of any help please contact me 239-895-8244

Back Yard Fun!

February 21, 2011 Default

Sorry, have not hit my blog in a bit. Crazy time  right now! Season is upon us. Everyone seems to be looking for a condo in Fort Myers or Cape Coral, and there are lots to choose from. Wow! Amazing deals out  there. Anyway talking of back yard fun, I have run across some reallly cool back yards lately. Especially out in Bokeelia  and St. James city. Anyway I have taken some of these ideas and added them to my back yard, for instance I now have a Bottle Tree. It is so cool and reflects the sun. Just a metal tree that allows you to put colored bottles on it. I Love it! I also have added lots of bird houses and bird feeders to the yard. Next we will have to add the hammock.I am trying to make the yard a Tropical Paradise with loys of privacy. Any ideas for me? Would love the input.

Sunday Morning Brunch Spots (Or any morning, even)

After having tried a number of brunch spots in the Fort Myers and Cape Coral area over a number of years, I have settled on two that have become favorites. If you have not yet tried a meal at either McGregor Cafe (4305 McGregor Boulevard, Fort Myers, FL 33901 (239) 936-1771) or Twisted Lemon Cafe (900 SW Pine Island Rd # 122, Cape Coral, FL 33991-1981 (239) 673-8585), indulge yourself at least once.

(And for those of you with children, they have excellent "kids' menus", too!)

Also, if you're new to the area and want a fun way to explore the cuisine of the area, try www.urbanspoon.com (and, yes, there is an app for your smartphone!). I've used this ever since they came out with the application yeas ago and it's a lot of fun! (Even if you're local and can't decide where to dine, try Urbanspoon's slot machine widget. Decision made for you!

P.S. I might also add a fantastic lunch/dinner spot, as well. Warning: Once you try it, you may surely be hooked: Vapiano in Fort Myers. Amazing!

Enjoy!

Enjoying My Career

February 12, 2011 Default

I had decided to change careers 2 years ago and become a school teacher after not using my education degree for over 30 years.  I have been in the real estate sales career mode for most of my life and became tired of the appraisal career so I thought a change would be nice.  After being forced out of education for unknown reasons I started thinking about what I wanted to do for the next 10-20 years.  I had becme very stressed out and could not seem to relax. Well I found out the past few weeks that Real Estate is still in my blood.  Its fun to wake up in the morning again and have new challenges and have the opportunity to succeed or fail based upon what I do not another person's opinion.  I'm invigorated, excited and even have a smile on my face most days.  If you see this "experienced" (can't say old man) knock on your door with a smile and offer to provide RE services to you or a friend give him a smile back and a listing or a referral will sure help. Welcome to my world.
